Clark Tate

Clark is a Senior Review Editor who has been testing, rating, and reviewing products at GearLab for more than 7 years. Clark has written detailed reviews of more than 300 products, ranging from Earbuds to Tents (she can also swing an Axe like a lumberjack!). Clark Tate studied audio production at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies where she developed expertise that helps inform her outstanding work on audio product reviews. She earned her Masters in Environmental Science at the University of Virginia and honed her technical and analytical skills working for 7 years as a River Restoration Ecologist before shifting to her dream job, working in journalism. When she is not engaged in side-by-side comparison reviews, you'll find Clark mountain biking, climbing, river running, or sneaking off to the ocean till the mountains turn white and the snowboard and skis call out from the closet.
