Whitney Clark

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Whitney was an avid soccer player and received a full scholarship to play at the University of Washington. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a focus on International Development Studies and Cartography. The skills she obtained through her degree laid the foundation for work as an editor, writer and gear reviewer where she can utilize her computer, research and analytical knowledge. After graduating in 2008, she found a passion for climbing and has dedicated much of the past ten years to exploring and traveling around the world.

Whitney traded the rainforests of the PNW for the sunny California desert and currently resides in Bishop. When she's not testing gear, you can find her scrambling in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, doing yoga or cooking.
