Our Verdict

Finishing right at the very back of the group, the RAVPower Deluxe 16750 fared overall quite poorly in our tests. This battery is a bit of a pain to carry around and delivered an unimpressive performance in the majority of our tests. Its price and capacity put it a bit in the awkward middle, being too large and expensive to easily carry around with you everywhere, but you could spend just a bit more and get a battery that is way larger if you are going to leave it in your bag.
REASONS TO BUY
Large capacity for its price
REASONS TO AVOID
Not the most portable
Relatively mediocre overall
As of January 2020, the RAVPower Deluxe 16750 is discontinued.

Our Analysis and Test Results

This portable battery finished right at the bottom of the group, just behind the Aibocn. The Aibocn has less capacity, but is easier to carry around than the RAVPower Deluxe. Additionally, it also costs about ⅓ of what the RAVPower Deluxe does, with both of these batteries being equivalent when it comes to convenience features.

Portability

This battery is one of the widest batteries of the entire group, measuring in at 3.1", and is 5" long and 0.83" wide. It is also a bit on the heavier side, with our scale recording a weight of 10.92 oz.

This makes the RAVPower Deluxe quite uncomfortable to have in a pocket — front or back — while sitting. It doesn't stick out of most pockets, but feels like you are sitting on a giant wallet.

It's a bit bulky, so we preferred to carry it in a backpack instead of our pockets.

The width on this battery also makes it very cumbersome to carry around in a pocket while you are walking around.

Capacity

RAVPower claims that this battery can charge a Galaxy S7 3.5 times, an iPhone 7 5.5 times, or an iPad Air once. This battery slightly exceeded that claim in our test, charging the Galaxy Phone 3.58 times before it was fully depleted.

In our maximum capacity discharge test, the Deluxe didn't do quite as well. With a discharge rate set for 2.4 amps, we were only able to pull about 58% of this battery's maximum capacity, or 9654 mAh. We did this test with a lower discharge rate and got a little more juice out — 10,156 mAh, so not a huge improvement, but a bit.

Added Convenience

This battery doesn't have a built-in re-charging plug or any integrated cables for charging devices, but it does have a handy flashlight built right into the device.

It comes with two micro USB cables and the capability to charge multiple devices at once. There is also an included 18-month limited warranty, with an extension added if you register.

Recharge Time

Using a high-quality wall adapter and the LED lights to determine when it was fully charged, we found that the RAVPower Deluxe took almost 7.5 hours to recharge all the way.

Value

This product isn't a great value, as there are better options if you are shopping on a budget, or there are far better batteries for just a few bucks more if you want one of the top-notch products.

Conclusion

Overall, we weren't huge fans of this portable power pack. It finished right at the back of the group and its performance makes us a bit reticent to recommend it.
