Jackson's affinity for tech began when he experienced video games for the first time on the Nintendo 64 as a kid. He's been hooked on all things tech ever since, expanding his interest to PC gaming, cameras, outdoor tech. He went on to study Journalism at SUNY Purchase, which led to a decade-long career of covering local news and real estate in New York City. He's since merged his reporting skills with his love of tech and now writes about the latest consumer tech product releases while reviewing the latest gadgets that catch his eye, like the latest Polaroid instant cameras or DJI drones.

He's always looking to see how far he can push action cameras during his climbing trips and has shot with a mix of camera brands, including Nikon, Fujifilm, Sony, and Leica. Bouncing between skateboarding and rock climbing during the week, he's always looking for a useful device to help him recover or progress better.
