Our Verdict
Our Analysis and Test Results
The ultra-thin Innway Card Find My is about as thick as two credit cards and light enough to go unnoticed in your wallet. Instead of replacing the battery or the tracker altogether, you can recharge the Innway Card with the same wireless charger you use for your smartphones or with a proprietary wired charger that's sold separately. Most importantly, this tracker uses Apple's far-reaching Find My network to pinpoint your items when you're too far to connect via Bluetooth.
Finding Keys
The Innway Card Find My is the perfect shape to tuck into one of your wallet's designated card slots. At 1.7 mm thick and weighing 13 grams, it's hard to notice any difference when carrying the card tracker on a daily basis. Even with consistent use in a wallet that's being sat on in my back pocket, I didn't see any bending, warping, or deformities. This tracker has separation alerts that notify you before you're too far away, preventing that dreaded scenario where you have to double back for your forgotten keys or wallet.
Since the Innway Card Find My is a flat rectangle with no attachment points, it requires some extra help if you're planning on tracking keys. It may be an inelegant solution, but you can find a card holder accessory with a loop to run a keyring through. (Although, if you want a designated key tracker, we suggest checking out another keyring style option from our tracker review.) When tracking keys, this card tracker adds a lot of unnecessary bulk and feels clunky resting in my front pocket versus being in a wallet. Occasionally, it takes a few attempts to trigger the ringtone for this card tracker in the Find My app.
Finding Luggage and Bags
Given the compact size of the Innway Card Find My, there's no shortage of options for where to place the tracker in your bag or luggage. Many pieces of luggage come with identifier tag holders where you fill in your contact information in case it gets lost. This feels like a natural place to slip the card tracker, but the card easily fits into a luggage or backpack's inner sleeves for a less conspicuous placement. If you step out of Bluetooth range of your luggage or bag, it's likely left behind somewhere that has plenty of Apple devices for this card tracker to bounce its location off of, like an airport or office building. With that in mind, the Find My network will constantly provide you with updated locations of your forgotten bag each time it passes another iPhone or iPad. If you are within Bluetooth range, the melody is loud and sharp enough to hear through whatever bag it's inside.
With a poor showing in Bluetooth range tests, the Innway Card Find My left me wandering around a last-seen location for a few minutes before connecting to my iPhone. During testing, it frequently took more than just one round of ringtone to hear, meaning you have to keep pressing the Play Sound button in the Find My app. While it's only a slight inconvenience, the option for a continuous or longer ringtone should be considered.
Finding a Pet
With an IP68 rating, there's no need to take the Innway Card Find My off your dog when it's raining. The sharp ringtone might annoy your pets, but it's loud enough to hear inside your own home when you're trying to figure out where your pet is hiding. With separation alerts, this tracker serves as a preventative measure against your pets running off. Beyond that, you get the added benefit of Apple's Find My network to help find your lost cat or dog when the tracker runs into another compatible device.
Like with keys, the form factor of the Innway Card Find My doesn't lend itself well to tracking pets. With no built-in attachment point, you're forced to find a card holder with a loop that can then be attached to your pet's collar. After all that, there's still a flat rectangle dangling from a collar and being a nuisance for your furballs. Alternatively, you can stick this card tracker into a dog jacket with a pocket, but this solution doesn't work well in hotter temps. With such a limited range, you have to make sure your pets don't run off beyond 65 feet, or you'll have trouble sounding off the tracker. If you're looking specifically for a tracker to attach to your pet's collar, there are better options in our tracker review.
Finding Bikes and Vehicles
If you can't remember where you parked your car, the Innway Card Find My provides a great starting point with a nearby address in the Find My app. If you're too far to connect through Bluetooth, you should still get an approximate location of your left-behind car or bike when it crosses paths with another nearby iPhone. With such a thin shape, there are plenty of places to tuck this tracker inside your car. If you have a MagSafe or Qi charger in your car, it's a convenient way to keep this rechargeable card tracker topped off since it's compatible with wireless charging.
It's a lot easier to find somewhere to place the Innway Card Find My in a car versus a bicycle. Unless you already have some sort of bike storage option, this card tracker doesn't have a built-in way to attach to a bike frame. With its modest Bluetooth range, don't be surprised if you have to walk around in circles for a little bit to get your smartphone to find your vehicle. While not specific to the Innway Card, Bluetooth trackers are less useful in a stolen vehicle situation since they're not as reliable or accurate as GPS tracking. Even with Apple's Find My network, you only see the last-seen location, which could already be miles away if the object is in motion.
Usability
You can set up the Innway Card Find My in seconds — all it requires is pressing a button and connecting it to the Find My app on an iPhone. Once paired, it's easy to locate the Innway model thanks to the high-pitch notes of its ringtone. Even in a crowded climbing gym or fully-packed cafe, I could still discern the tracker's shrill melody among the background chatter. Even if you can't hear it, the tracker's compatibility with Apple's Find My network means you get some idea of where it is, even if it's out of Bluetooth range. It's also much more convenient to recharge this card tracker every few months than breaking it open to swap the battery or replacing the entire device.
Rechargeability aside, the Innway Card Find My has a lackluster battery life since it died in roughly five months of being tested. While compatibility with Apple's Find My network is a major selling point, there's a real lack of useful features beyond this. If you're just relying on Bluetooth, the real-world range falls severely short at around 65 feet, even though the advertised number is around 200 feet. The card tracker is one of the thinnest on the market, but I couldn't help but notice the rigid corners that make it feel clunky in hand.
Should You Buy the Innway Card Find My?
The Innway Card Find My is designed for those of us who are constantly misplacing our wallets. Instead of panicking to cancel your credit cards, this card tracker helps you quickly locate your lost item with an easy-to-hear ringtone and extra findability through Apple's Find My network. However, if you need a tracker to throw onto your keys or a dog collar, the Innway Card's form factor doesn't suit these use cases. Instead, it's ideal for slipping into a wallet, bag, or car.
What Other Tracker Should You Consider?
For a cheaper card tracker option with plenty of ringtones and volume settings, the Tile Slim Card is a great alternative with a much longer battery life. If you value the usefulness of Apple's network, you can opt for the Apple AirTag in a card-shaped accessory or the Chipolo Card Spot instead.
