Our Verdict
The K&F Concept 60 Inch Carbon Fiber is a featherweight tripod that can still support full-sized cameras and heavier lenses. It weighs a modest 2.39 pounds and folds down to only 14" long, making it easy to squeeze inside a camera backpack, though it also has a nice carrying case if you want to carry it separately or for storage. If you want to be more mobile, but still need a bit of stabilization, this model quickly converts to a monopod by simply unscrewing one of its legs and attaching the ballhead to its top. For photographers who want to keep their camera bag light for walking-intensive photo shoots, put the Concept 60 Inch on your radar.

Likes
First and foremost, the K&F Concept 60 Inch Carbon Fiber is portable. Its folded length of 14 inches is half the size of the more robust tripods on the market, and at about 2.4 lbs, it is very lightweight. Whether on an urban photo shoot or taking photos in nature, the K&F Concept keeps your bag light on days when you need to carry your camera equipment for more than a mile.
The Concept has a load capacity of 17.6 pounds, which is jaw-droppingly high considering its light weight. Most full-frame cameras, including a mid-range lens, weigh between 4 and 6 pounds, giving you plenty of margin with the Concept, even if hanging a bag on its stabilizing hook. We also appreciated the Concept's price point. Carbon fiber construction typically stings the wallet, but K&F made this model light and relatively inexpensive.

It fell in the middle of the pack for ease of use. Though it doesn't have a 90° adjustable arm for true overhead shots, the ballhead has a slot that allows the camera to shift into portrait mode, upping its shot versatility over simpler tripods. We also love that there is a level indicator on the head of the tripod, helping us keep the horizon straight in our landscape shots.
Dislikes
We were glad to see a stabilizing hook on the K&F Concept 60 Inch Carbon Fiber, but it's very small. For thinner bag straps, it's easy to slide onto the hook, but more padded handles weren't as secure.

The end segments of the Concept were also on the skinnier side. This reduced the tripod's stability when fully extended and caused long-exposure photos to be slightly blurry. For better stability, we recommend extending only the upper segments.

This blend of skinnier end segments and a small stabilizing hook put the Concept further back in stability.
Should You Buy the K&F Concept 60 Inch Carbon Fiber?
The K&F Concept 60 Inch Carbon Fiber is very easy to carry and can handle larger camera equipment. It doesn't perform as well when fully extended because of the very thin end segments, but it can be stabilized by hanging a bag on the hook as long as you have a narrower strap. The ballhead is also user-friendly for quick shot adjustments, whether in an urban or nature setting.

What Other Tripods Should You Consider?
Check out the even lighter SIRUI Lightweight Carbon Fiber Traveler 5C if you like to travel with your camera equipment. It's smaller than the K&F Concept 60 inch Carbon Fiber, but it doesn't have as large a load capacity, making it best for photographers using lighter camera equipment. The K&F Concept 64 is a good budget option that costs about half as much because of its aluminum construction, but it's a bit bulkier and heavier for the same reason. It also includes a phone mount for any aspiring content creators.
