Our Verdict

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra is a strong, all-around robot vacuum at a competitive price. This model stands out for its dependable navigation, solid suction power, and genuinely useful smart features. It handles everyday dust, debris, and maintenance cleaning with minimal intervention, and its app controls and automation options help simplify routine upkeep. It isn't a perfectionist when it comes to pet hair, so an occasional manual pickup might be in order.

Our Mova P10 Pro Ultra Experience

Right out of the box, the Mova P10 Pro Ultra made a strong impression. The design, dock, and especially the app feel more premium than you'd expect at this price. Initial mapping was quick and accurate. Rooms were identified, obstacles appeared on the map almost immediately, and setup required very little effort before cleaning could begin.

Day-to-day, the P10 Pro Ultra handled routine messes well enough to extend the time between deep cleans. The floors in our homes looked and felt cleaner with the Mova running through its daily cleaning cycle. Even the mopping left is impressed, picking up most average spills, though deeper embedded stains needed more help.

Navigation was where the experience became less hands-off. Despite recognizing many objects during mapping, real-time avoidance wasn't always reliable, and it wasn't a robot we felt comfortable running completely unattended without a quick pre-clean first. It ran into our fake pet mess and needed to be rescued from other low-lying obstacles a few times. You'll certainly want to pick up before running this vacuum.

Ultimately, the biggest takeaway was value - you get a lot of bang for your buck. The P10 Pro Ultra doesn't perform exactly like a thousand-dollar flagship, but it isn't far off. In fact, we noticed how similar it looked, felt, and ran to some of the DREAME models, without some of the bells and whistles. For everyday maintenance cleaning in a relatively tidy home, we were happy enough with all that it offered, and we think it'll be a good fit in just about any home.

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra is a solid mid‑priced robot that handles everyday debris, carpets, and mopping with minimal effort. Its feature‑rich app, multi‑floor mapping, and automated mop cleaning make it an easy choice for most households looking for strong value.

But if you need heavy-duty pet hair pickup or fully hands-off obstacle avoidance, this model may fall short and require some pre‑cleaning. You'll have to take a look at your household needs while looking at this robot.

If you like the idea of the P10 Pro Ultra but want more premium performance and have a bit more budget to spend, consider stepping up to the DREAME L50 Ultra or the Roborock Qrevo CurvX. Both of these models deliver stronger scores across the board — including smarter navigation, more reliable obstacle avoidance, and deeper cleaning power — and feel more polished overall.

On the other end of the spectrum, if your priority is getting solid cleaning without breaking the bank, the DREAME D10 Plus Gen 2 is worth a look. It doesn't score as high across every category as the premium models, but it still delivers dependable everyday performance and tends to do better with pet hair than you'd expect at its price point. It's an excellent true budget buy if you want good cleaning basics without the bells and whistles.

Our Analysis and Test Results

Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra starts strong when it comes to mapping. Initial scans are fast and impressively accurate, with the robot automatically identifying rooms, furniture, and common obstacles almost immediately. The companion app makes it easy to label rooms, create no-go zones, and set up multi-floor cleaning. Support for up to three saved maps should be enough for most homes, though larger multi-level spaces may run into that limit.

In practice, navigation feels like a step below flagship models. The robot clearly sees many obstacles and even marks them correctly on the map, but it doesn't always respond appropriately in real time. During testing, it successfully avoided cords, shoes, and some smaller items, yet struggled with tall, narrow objects and occasionally chewed on the edges of thin rugs before correcting course. Its cleaning paths can also look a bit erratic compared to the neat grid patterns produced by more premium robots.

While it navigated open spaces confidently, it sometimes ran over objects it had already identified during mapping, including debris that higher-end robots typically avoid. It managed to avoid some obstacles, but was specifically drawn to our fake pet messes. “It kind of threaded the needle with obstacle avoidance,” one tester wrote. “It managed to dodge some objects, but not always the ones that really mattered.”

Overall, navigation is capable but not particularly smart. The P10 Pro Ultra can map and move through a home effectively enough for routine cleaning, but it lacks the polish and reliability needed to feel completely hands-off — a reasonable tradeoff given its much lower price point.

Hardfloor Cleaning & Mopping

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra performed impressively on hard floors, capturing about 91% of our spilled mess. In open areas, it picked up the majority of debris — rice, Cheerios, and light dust — with minimal intervention. The vacuum handled edges well when it decided to focus on them, leaving clean streaks along baseboards, though it occasionally skipped corners or small patches in tight spaces.

Its mop system is effective for routine maintenance. Fresh spills and light messes were removed without issue, leaving floors looking noticeably cleaner. Dried-on stains were more stubborn, sometimes requiring a follow-up pass to fully lift residue, and the mop pads occasionally spread grounds lightly rather than fully absorbing them.

One standout feature is the P10 Pro Ultra's self-cleaning mop pads. This keeps maintenance low-effort, as the vacuum can wash and dry its own pads. It even heats the pads up to “It's one less thing you have to manually do, which is awesome,” wrote one tester.

Carpet Cleaning

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra handled carpets reasonably well, especially for embedded debris. Its suction lifted dirt and sand effectively, and most areas came out looking refreshed after a cleaning cycle. Thin, washable rugs fared better than expected, with the vacuum generally picking up fine particles without tugging or flipping the edges—though it occasionally chewed on corners before adjusting.

That said, the robot's cleaning path on carpets was a little unconventional. Instead of a tight grid, it tended to move in irregular squiggles, which sometimes dragged larger bits like rice or Cheerios around before eventually picking them up. On a second pass, there were instances where debris dropped back onto the rug as the vacuum dismounted, so a quick sweep afterward could still be necessary for perfection.

Ease of Use

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra is surprisingly approachable for its price. The app is intuitive, visually clean, and closely mirrors the premium DREAME interface.

Creating multi-floor mapping, no-go zones, and zone cleaning is straightforward. You can track cleaning progress in real time, view battery life, schedule sessions, and even control docking behavior with minimal effort. The vacuum also automatically detects floor types and adapts cleaning accordingly, which adds to the hands-off experience.

On the hardware side, the P10 Pro Ultra is easy to maintain. The roller brush comes out quickly for hair removal, the mop pads are self-cleaning and compatible with the included detergent, and the tanks for clean and dirty water are simple to access and rinse. Noise levels are reasonable during operation, though the auto-emptying dock is more noticeable—still manageable if you're nearby.

Pet Hair

The Mova P10 Pro Ultra struggles more with pet hair than with other types of debris. While it handles everyday dust and crumbs well, larger clumps of hair often get pushed around rather than fully picked up. The vacuum's suction isn't quite strong enough to capture heavier or more tangled strands, leaving some behind even after multiple passes.

While the actual suction wasn't working, the air expulsion from the robot was a different story. “The motor is so powerful that pieces of fluff behind the outflow port were getting blown away! It was funny to watch, but not ideal for cleaning my home,” wrote one tester. This makes it less ideal for households with shedding pets, though it still performs adequately for lighter hair or short-term maintenance. For pet-heavy homes, a dedicated handheld or stick vacuum might still be necessary to supplement the P10's cleaning.
